Mothers Day Card - Masking

At the moment I am somewhere in Thailand, hopefully having a great time and enjoying the sun. But I have scheduled this post in advance so I can share this card with you. I have made this card using dies and stamps from Whiff of Joy as well as a stencil from Tim Holtz.

I did film a video for this card as well, but since I am not particularly pleased with how the card turned out I decided not to post the video. I will however upload more card videos and art pages once I get back from my vacation.

Mixed Media - Deerly Beloved 2 - Art Journal Page #11

Today I am sharing another painting and tutorial video and just like my last art video I am adding this one to my Art Journal Series even though it isn't technically an art journal page. But I don't really know where else to put it so this will have to do.

This image is also part of the "Deerly Beloved" series, and this is the second piece that I have completed. This painting wasn't actually planned, but I just wanted to try and use acrylic paints on the stencil so this is more of an experiment than a preplanned thing.

I also filmed a tutorial for this card that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.

Make A Card Monday - Simple Birthday Card

Today I am sharing a new Make A Card Monday project with you using a few products from Whiff of Joy. The card today is as usual a very clean and simple card that is easy and fast to make.

To make this card I stamped the background on the edge of a white cardstock, then I also stamped my sentiment in the opposite corner using the same ink. To make the teal ink pop out more I matted the white cardstock on a black background and then adhered all of it to a white card base. Afterwards I realized that the white card base didn't really bring it all together the way I wanted, to I added the teal ink to the edge of the card base to tie it all together better.

Mixed Media - Deerly Beloved 1 - Art Journal Page #10

Today I am finally back with the first new video and art project after my long holiday. I started out pretty simple and didn't make anything too complicated today. The project I am sharing today is a bit different, but I choose to add it to my Art Journal section anyway. It's more of a painting that you hang on the wall than an actual page in my journal, but still.

This image is part of a series that I am calling "Deerly Beloved", and this is the first piece that I have completed.

After the painting was done and dry I placed it in a white frame from IKEA and will be hanging it on the wall together with another painting in the same style (will show how to make that one later too)

I also filmed a tutorial for this card that you can find on my YouTube channel or here below.

Birthday - Simple Window Card

Today I have a new card to share with you. I am preparing for a two week trip to Thailand at the moment and don't really have a lot of time to spare, so making a clean and simple card is always a good choice when you are short on time.

This time I used a stamp and a die from Whiff of Joy together with a small piece of scrap paper I had left over from all of my Christmas cards.

You can win these by entering the challenge at TIME OUT Challenges. You can use any stamps but we love to see Uniko stamps of course. We will also draw a random winner from the comments on the blog post over at Uniko Studio Blog, so make sure to head over there and comment for a chance to win.

For this challenge we are using this photo as inspiration.
